PREFACE
About ten men in India plunder the
natural resources and the public money. They are the ruling class of India.
They nominate the prime minister, control the public mind and rule India.
Mr. H.D. Deve Gowda seized power
without the blessing of the ruling class. Therefore, they wanted to remove him
from power. They accomplished it with the help of their political agents,
courts, bureaucrats and the media.
The driving force behind
choosing a political career must be an intense desire to serve the “whole” in
the best national interest.
Mr. H.D. Deve Gowda had been a state
level political leader before becoming the Prime Minister of India. He is a
member of a backward community of the Karnataka State. His accession
to the post of the Prime Minister of India was a significant political
development. All commended his selfless service. At a time when the post of the
Prime Minister of India lost all its lustre, he clearly showed that there were
several ways for doing the first class work.
His rule for about 11 months was
measured by the people as the ‘momentous months’ in the political and social
development of India.
This book deals with the concrete
actions of the United Front Government led by Mr. H. D. Deve Gowda. It
brightly exposes the forces that worked for his de-stabilization. The
book would do immense benefit to the posterity.
